The Le Fil Vert Collection is awarded for the Eco-friendly Products category at The Green Collection show at the Domotex 2023 fair. THE GREEN COLLECTION is the centerpiece of DOMOTEX 2023. This special show is the central area in which the topic of sustainability is played out. The award for the Eco-friendly Products is focused on organically and ethically produced materials, as well as recycled and upcycled raw materials.

Amini is presenting an exhibition dedicated to a selection of fine Afghan wool carpets hand carded and twisted, made in villages of northern Afghanistan, where symbols and knotting techniques are passed down from family to family, and differ in each village. On display, in the evocative rooms of a seventeenth-century building in typical Milanese style, in the heart of Brera, the Jean II carpet by Amini, designed by the communication and design studio Juma. The installation, curated by Thayse Viégas, founder of Casa Canvas, and Nazarena Manenti, Milanese architect and stylist, offered a fluid and experiential path interpreting the different forms of living in order to create a welcoming and exclusive atmosphere.

With “Design Therapy”, Elle Decor Italia presents a project-installation signed by the studio Matteo Thun & Partners, which this year explores a holistic vision of the hotel of tomorrow, where the attention to physical and mental wellness of its guests is the cornerstone of the interior design project, and where the presence of nature is pivotal. From the 17th to the 21st of January Amini participated with Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua at Paris Déco Off, the event that transforms the center of Paris into an exhibition space dedicated to interior decoration. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the exhibition, at Galerie Christy Amini presented the new carpet collection developed in collaboration with the ancient Venetian manufacture. Among the news the Rinascimento collection, carpets that reinterpret the floral motif of Damask in a mix of wool and silk that creates plays of light and shadow, with the complicity of multi-level workmanship.

A group of artists and designers had challenged heir studio practice by reimagining the materials they traditionally work in (wood, glass, bronze, ceramics) and creating completely new works using wool and silk. Exploring the weaving techniques for the first time, without any knowledge of the process what-so-ever, the group of creative were not tethered by any limits normally associated with the craft.
The Haas Brothers, Ferngully
The “Ferngully” exhibition opens at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami on December 5th. In their first solo exhibition, The Haas Brothers duo walks the guests into a fantastic, nostalgic and enveloping environment, remindful of renovation and rebirth, both found in nature. The exhibition takes its title from the animated children’s film of 1992, “FernGully: The Last Rainforest.” Set in a magical forest, the film retraces the adventure of two unlikely companions, a fairy named Crysta and a lumberjack named Zak, who join forces to save their home from devastation. A reality that, seen through the innocent eyes of childhood, leads the child to an imaginary world made of monsters, animals dreamlike landscapes, placing a link between the intrinsic functionality of nature and man-made creations.

Wallpaper* AfghanMade
Amini is pleased to participate at Wallpaper* AfghanMade, the exhibition that unveils the finest carpets to emerge from the Afghan looms and that challenged local craftsmen to reproduce lines, shapes and concepts completely new to them. On display are the Amini rugs born from the collaboration with Scholten & Baijings and the Spanish artist Lluís Lleó.
