A perfect blend of creativity, quality craft and new technologies, for carpets as narrative drawings.

Starting from a project developed in 1974, the collection presents ten square modules of identical size (60×60 cm) defined by as many geometric patterns, in the eight colours of Panton’s colour series. Circles, squares, waves, stripes, quarters of a circle, and quarters of a square, made of precious wool and hand-tufted, are suitable for being freely composed to give life to the most varied patterns. The modules are perfectly suited to decorate not only floors, but also walls, and they can furthermore be used to optimize the acoustic qualities of a space.

Artemisia reinterprets the motifs of classic carpets in contemporary style, interrupting the details of the design with voids for a highly decorative effect. The silk pattern, soft and shiny, emerges discreetly from the wool background, thanks to shades in slight contrast, or tone-on-tone. Artemisia is a hand-knotted carpet of fine manufacture, suitable for contemporary and elegant interiors.

The research started some time ago by Amini n the theme of the reinterpretation of the Berber rug in a contemporary key is enriched by a new product. The RD Halong rug presents as a combination of graphic elements and surface textures translated into a calibrated design, made of juxtapositions of full and empty spaces. The play of contrasts between depth and background of the high pile alternates with the design of the contrasting lines. The total chromatic effect, from the soft tones of the natural wool, are emphasized by the brilliant embroidery in colours of Oriental spices.

Originally created on a semi-mechanical loom, the pure wool rugs revisited by Amini are hand knotted and feature a two-level carved pile. The collection is characterised by four different animal subjects: the leopard, Tapipardo, with orange colour on a blue background; the lion, Tapileo, in ochre colour on a yellow background; the bear, Tapiorso, in white on an ivory background; the dragon, Tapidrago, in green on a white background.
