Insieme, Milano Design Week 2026

Amini takes part in the exhibition INSIEME, curated by Sabato De Sarno and presented by Vanity Fair, with a site-specific installation.

Amini is one of the twelve companies featured in Archivio Italia, Vanity Fair’s new cultural and editorial project, previewed in Milan during Design Week. This inaugural edition is expressed through the group exhibition INSIEME, curated by the designer and art collector Sabato De Sarno.˝

The installations are set up in the evocative spaces of Piscina Cozzi in Milan, a historic public baths complex dating back to the 1930s. The selected companies share four essential criteria: a history of at least 50 years, a company archive considered as heritage, a tradition of collaboration with artists or designers, and a strong connection to their local territory.

As a “witness” to Amini’s savoir-faire, Sabato De Sarno selected a vintage rug in Anatolian style, flat weave and originally hand-knotted in wool on cotton. Rather than presenting it in its traditional form, the rug has been reinterpreted through an intervention that deconstructed its structure, transforming it into a visual narrative of its own creation process. What is usually hidden becomes the protagonist: the final installation thus reveals the threads and expert gestures that brought this textile artwork to life.˝

The vibrant yellow chosen by the curator, a symbol of light and continuity, runs through all the installations as a guiding thread, leading the visitor through this interweaving of stories and knowledge, of which Amini is an integral part.˝
