Thick felt yarns, onto which thinner threads are wound, give life to a rectangular shape that repeats itself in a visual crescendo, acquiring ever greater consistency and gradually materialising. The result is a play of overlaps that recalls Rodolfo Dordoni’s typical geometric rigour, enhanced here by a dynamic composition. The design originates from the warp, while the weft remains almost hidden – visible only at the sides – adding depth and mystery to the entire composition.

Care & Maintenance
A correct handling and small daily attentions ensure that you may preserve over time the tactile and aesthetic qualities of the carpet. In addition to the quality of the cleaning, which must strictly be professional in case of handmade carpets, there are a number of important recommendations to be made. A few inconveniences may occur soon after first buying a hand-crafted carpet for the first time. Recognizing them and knowing how to deal with them can help you prevent irreversible damage.
Noble yarn among the most ancient used in carpet production. Wool allows obtaining results of great quality and value, with a refined and timeless design.

The Studio continues with its commitment along the path shaped by the founding vision of the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, ensuring continuity with the extensive experience developed over years of close connection with some of the most prominent brands in contemporary design.Sharing both method and vision, and with constant attention to project quality, Mattia Cimadoro and Giuseppe Mauro, industrial designers, manage and coordinate Dordoni Studio, still headquartered at Via Bramante 29 in Milan, for its product design activities. A creative approach, refined over two decades of deep collaboration, focused on formal coherence and balance of proportions, attention to detail and study of finishes. Relationships with leading companies, mainly in the furniture and lighting fields, are built through an ongoing dialogue concerning the context and adapted to production processes. The expressive language, clear and essential, aims to merge continuity with contemporaneity, shaping projects with a defined yet measured and discreet identity.
