Amini promotes a charity auction on Catawiki in support of EMERGENCY ONG ONLUS and its activities in Afghanistan.
Amini renews its commitment, already demonstrated in 2021, to support its home country with the “Made in Afghanistan” charity auction: 44 carpets – from Taimany, Bamiyan, Ozbeck Berber, Ghazni Naive and Kelim Kaudani collections -, expression of the best Afghan craftsmanship, numbered and offered for sale with an accessible auction base from November 24th to December 10th on Catawiki, partner in this important initiative. On November 30th the company will host a physical event in its Milan showroom where three exceptional examples will be auctioned off.
The charity auction offers a significant collection of the traditional textile art of this country, the crossroads of Central Asia. Like a quality brand, the name “Made in Afghanistan” certifies the origin and authenticity of the artifacts, while the label on the back of each rug certifies their free and spontaneous creativity. The funds raised from the sale of the carpets will be entirely donated to the projects of EMERGENCY ONG ONLUS in Afghanistan in support of the local population, which has been suffering from 44 years of hardship and objective conditions of difficulty and precariousness.
